I AM not a photographer. Those of you who are skilled in this area have my respect and adoration. As someone who works in the media, I rely on a good photographer. Photography is a way to clinically document life and current events, but it's always a form of creative expression. These juxtaposing elements are what draw me to photography, and in particular film photography. 

Recently I bought a second hand Olympus OM 2N camera. Hillvale in Brunswick scan and upload film photos as digital files for about $10 a roll, making this an accessible and affordable new hobby. I like the mechanical process of shooting film. The metering of light. The way you have to pay attention to where the sun is, what your surroundings are.
